IVE BEEN A PATIENT FOR MANY YEARS. GOOD AS MAYO CLINIC IN ROCHRSTER. THE ONLY TIME IVE HAD ANY PROBLEM - DURING COVID! DONT YOU REALIZE COVID HAS STRETCHED HOSPITALS TO THE MAX. IF YOUVE HAD ANY SERIOUS PROBLEM AT ALL THEY ARE AS GOOD AS MAYO CLINIC! BUT DURING COVID THEY ARE DOING THEIR VERY BEST. REMEMBER? BACK THE NURSES & DRS & AMBULANCES ETC. THEY ARE THE TRUE HEROES - ESP. DURING COVID

After being in an auto accident, my partner and I came in 03/14/18 and waited over 5 hours to be seen. After asking where we were in line we received a very generic “I don’t know” answer. We had to leave because my level of pain and discomfort was through the roof. We returned on 03/15/18 to sit another 3 and a half hours in a room separated to be told we needed to take ibuprofen for our pain and discomfort. Whatever the kick back this hospital gets for pushing ibuprofen on people with serious car accident injuries must be incredible! Don’t come here if you want to see a doctor because, all you get is an un-glorified black nurse practitioner named Sandra, who loathes and detests providing services to other races! Sandra told my partner, “do not return unless you have lost ALL sensation in a limb or you CANNOT move your head from side to side. Where’s the logic in this treatment?

Stay away from this hospital if you can I was about to be discharged after dealing with nasty bacteria attacking me.Everything was ok and nurse stuff was amazing except for Dr stuff my case was ping ponged from one doctor to another so I was told different information. They told me treatment was finished and was about to be discharged then the Dr blocked discharged saying he missed a very important info on my chart from the doctor !!!! He kept saying I did not see that information and that botched my release even though I made arrangements and was ready to go home but he did not allow me again because he missed medical vital information from my chart so unprofessional on his part. The whole thing was a rollercoaster so if you care about your well being or your loved ones please choose different hospital this is unacceptable for a medical institution like that to make such egregious and terrible mistakes like that .So I have to go back to square one in this hotel this is dr should not be allowed to be in charge of people lives! I am weak and sick and my blood pressure though the rough about this incompetent place where they allow to doctors like that to practice and where communication is so poor!!! I gave it one star only because amazing nurse stuff here is heroic and they did anything and everything to help me and my true hero’s it’s very sad when nurses are more thorough and careful then the actual MD with shines badges and not paying attention to patients charts so god bless stay away from here!

Excellent ER services! All the staff are very friendly, attentive to your needs and comfort and explain everything they are doing. Beautiful building and spotlessly clean. Glad I chose this facility. UTSWMC is the best!

Second open heart operation to with promise to repair aortic valve which was not done. Mechanical valve is very loud and resulting in many complications. Warning. Never get a mechanical valve. Not safe and the doctors are only there to sell a product and make money. I've had my chest opened up 3 times within a year and a half. The doctors are insensitive and do not care. The worst experience ever! don't consider or even try to to do what the patient asks
