Arrived 1050 to pickup our load. Broker had told our dispatch that our load was ready. There were 4 trucks parked in the entrance when we got there. Two others showed up after us. Walked into Shipping office, to find out we have an appointment at 1200. But they are a bit behind, so please wait, we’ll call you when we’re ready. In case you’ve never picked up cherries, this is how it always goes. The cherries are picked, processed, bagged & then need to chill for 4 hours. So if the weather is bad the day before your appointment, there may not be enough product for you. Patience & calling ahead if possible are your best bets. We finally got a call at 1410. Backed to dock 2. Started loading at 1450. Finished at 1515. Got our paperwork and we’re out the gate at 1535. They have a scale at the back of their yard.

just be prepared to sit there for a few hours.. mske sure you eat before u get there or pack lunch. dont distract lady grabbing labels. or they will unload whole truck just to find the one she missed! smh \u200d️
