They will not respond to posts, Facebook, emails, or calls. Don’t waste your time on this company. I’m pretty sure the people giving 5 stars work there

Slow service, very slow... There time is more valuable than yours. I called for boat service. They said they would call me for my boat service in 4-5 weeks. I waited 11 weeks plus to have my boat looked at and I never heard back from them. Well need less to say, I took my boat to somewhere else. Btw, I’m still waiting on that service call from Dalton Marines lol. Boater beware, Don’t wait on there list and go elsewhere...

Awful experience. If I could leave a zero, I would. I left my boat with the shop for repair in late march of 2017. It needed a moderate repair and when I dropped it off I told the staff the boat was needed for a vacation in May. I was assured that would be sufficient time. There were no boats at the shop when I dropped it off. A couple of weeks went by and I called to check on progress. I was told that the boat had not been looked at yet and would be looked at any day. Over the following weeks, the boat was not repaired or worked on. Finally Wally looked at it and I ordered some parts. Then, the same pattern began......waiting. It took a long time for him to finally tell me that the part I sent would not work. So, I ordered another. After over a dozen attempts to babysit this irresponsible business, I finally went and picked the boat up in June and brought it back home. It would more than likely still be there if I had not done so. I was charged 270 dollars for Wally taking the engine apart and that is how it was returned to me since I did not want to pay another couple of hundred to have it put back together unfixed. I took it to another mechanic at that point. Wally, the mechanic is a nice guy but does not keep his word in the least. He left me high and dry. and I did not have a boat last Summer. No apology, no explanation and no attempt to make things right. I have owned boats for 25 years and this is the worst experience that I ever had. Dr. Russell Delaino Rome, Ga

We bought our boat from Dalton Marine 2 years ago. So when we needed a part we called Michelle about ordering a part that only a dealer can get. 3 weeks later after about 4 phone calls to check on the part, we are told she can not get them to answer her. But 2 weeks ago she told me it was ordered. Today I called and asked how much the part was going to cost. Now she tells me she has not ordered the part and don't know the price. If they don't want to deal with customers after the sale maybe you should look some where else to buy a boat.
