Went for some bfast Phillipine grub. Found myself in a small strip mall in Daly City choosing some authentic dishes behind a shield of glass in a divey cafe. Yelp says it's closed today, but it's not. Food is average but decent tasting and filling. Lots of options to choose from. They serve the usuals; Beef Caldaretta (beef stew w/veggies), Sisig (flavorful choice chunks of chicken, pork or beef), chicken and pork adobo, BBQ chicken and pork skewers, rice, noodles and so on.. But today.... They had Embudito! As an American, I can describe it as a Philipinno meat loaf. So obvi, I grabbed a loaf of that. Yumm. Definitely a 'cheapy go-to' resto.
