We opted for the Zodiac Whale Watching tour and had a phenomenal time! From seeing a gray whale in person to experiencing the magic of a dolphin stampede for the first time – Just WOW! The Zodiac boat goes fast -- that a was a super-fun experience in itself. The crew on board was so passionate, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They made sure everyone stayed spread out and masked the entire time. It was safe, fun, and fascinating! We can’t stop talking about how great it was and how we can’t wait to do it again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Let me start off by saying, don't think twice & book your tour here! Decided to celebrate our anniversary at Capt Dave's & must say we were not disappointed. The check-in staff as well as Hannah & Chuck were simply the most welcoming & very knowledgeable. Had done one previous whale watch tour in Long Beach but Capt Dave's definitely beats that. Felt very safe throughout the entire ride & were very lucky to spot 3 whales. To end the trip; they gave us complimentary fudge brownies which was simply delicious! Will definitely be coming back here again

I can’t begin to tell you what a magical trip this was. Captain Jim was knowledgeable, friendly and a valuable part of our experience. We saw a pod of 1,000 dolphin and perhaps more special, we got to interact with a humpback whale for over 40 minutes. This whale was as curious about us as we were of her! It was sheer magic. My 10 year old daughter and I chartered a private trip on the Orca and I highly recommend it. It was a memory which will last a lifetime. So much gratitude to Jim who shared in the wonder and respect of the marine life and was able to read the ocean so well to steer us so close to wild life without compromising it. I would give more stars if possible and we will absolutely be back to do this again.

I had the greatest whale and dolphin trip that day with this company! Marie and Kaitlin were awesome as captain and naturalist! They were very friendly and knowledgeable. We saw hundreds of dolphins and found a humpback putting on a show of her pectoral fin slapping and then SHE SWAM UNDER OUR BOAT! Really fun trip!!!! And the brownies as you disembark are DELICIOUS! Thank you, Captain Dave’s!!!

The boat captains were very friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to take us to a whale sighting and we saw 2 grey whales! We also saw more dolphins than we could count swimming next to the boat and under our feet. We had the best time and plan to come back to do it again. It was an unforgettable experience. Definitely the highlight of our trip :)
