I took Adult Beginner ballet classes here and absolutely loved them. The classes moved along at such an easy pace you were able to follow along no matter what your skill level and the teacher, Karen, was super sweet and skilled in many different types of dance. The owner, Roberta, is also a very reasonable and friendly businesswoman who retains a humanity not often seen these days. I'd recommend this studio to anyone interested in taking lessons or signing up their child.

DANCE FOR JOY is the best! A variety of great classes, wonderful teachers and staff, caring and nurturing environment. Not your average dance studio! Spent eighteen years there with my two daughters, who now have such wonderful memories of fabulous experiences and opportunities that DANCE FOR JOY provided. We all miss it!
I am a DFJ alumni and I loved dancing there. The people that I danced with were so nice and friendly, as well as the instructors. Everyone takes an interest in your life and will make you feel like you are part of the family the minute you walk in. The instructors are very good about encouraging the dancers to reach their highest potential while being conscious on how fast they learn and how well they understand the choreography. The teachers are also really good with helping dancers prevent injuries.
Growing up I danced here for over ten years. I couldn't imagine attending any other dance school. Dance for joy became my home away from home! Ms. Roberta and Ms. Rowena along with the other amazing teachers left such an amazing impact on me, especially after I graduated. The end of the year recitals, the yearly Nutcracker performance and the other performance opportunities truly set this dance school apart from any other! DFJ!
What an amazing dance studio with a warm, supportive atmosphere. The director Ms. Roberta and all the dance instructors provide training at all levels of dance, from beginner to advanced. My daughter has been dancing at DFJ since 2004 and we could not be any happier. We totally recommend DFJ.
