Liza is amazing - we told her what we were looking for to help us make our first dance fun and memorable and she delivered 110%! Even though our dance skills were VERY basic she walked us through and helped us improve immensely over 10 lessons. She listened to our music and helped us create the perfect choreography to Chris Cornell's "Finally Forever". Her love of dance is evident and she wants her couples to learn and have fun. She is genuine, caring and incredibly patient! Most importantly the dance was a huge hit - all our guests commented on how amazing it was! We would highly recommend Liza for not just wedding dance lessons but any dance lessons. Looking forward to improving our skills with other classes!
My fiancée and I wanted something memorable for our first dance and we could not have been luckier to have found Liza for choreographing our wedding dance. She was incredible! At the end of our wedding night people were still talking about our first dance, and this is coming from someone who is known for having two left feet on a good day. We walked in to our first lesson with little to no idea of what we wanted, all we had was the song picked. Over the period of five lessons we slowly created and adjusted a final dance that left the crowd in awe. We also had the experience of working with Liza before the pandemic, and during. For our lessons during the pandemic she was very considerate and still able to create an environment where the class was just as effective as pre-pandemic. We could not have been happier with Liza and will be recommending her to everyone we know.
Liza is great! I wanted to do a country 2-step but with some swing elements and lifts for our first dance and she nailed it! Our guests loved it and were thoroughly impressed by my now husbands new dance moves. Liza is very personable and knows dancing, she designed the choreography based on the elements we wanted and what worked best for our skill level. My Husband and I had so much fun learning the dance that we still practice it for fun :). Choosing Liza as our first dance instructor was one of the best things we could have done for our weddings and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!
We took 4 60-minute dance lessons with Liza and Janna and absolutely loved our experience. We worked together to create choreography that felt fun and natural to us. Not only was it a great, stress-free date night each week (we went once a week for the four weeks leading up to the wedding), we were actually looking forward to performing our first dance instead of feeling awkward about everyone watching us. Some of my favorite photos from our wedding are the ones of our guests' faces as they watched our first dance with all the dips and turns and lifts. I think a class pack makes for an amazing wedding shower gift, fun date night, and a really special first dance! Cannot recommend them highly enough!!
Liza is amazing. You can tell she knows her stuff. She is a delight to be around and has great teaching techniques. My wife and I hired her to teach us a first dance at our wedding. We were thoroughly prepared and couldn’t have asked for more. Neither of us had any formal or informal dance lessons. Thank you Liza!
Liza was so helpful. Neither of us had any formal dance training but she took her time and taught us step by step. Liza is extremely patient and is an excellent teacher. Going to her classes was so fun and now we have a newfound respect for professional dancers! We ended up performing our 1st dance at our wedding perfectly. We would highly recommend working with Liza no matter your skill level!
