At the end of a gruelling travel day we checked into our hotel and asked the desk where we could get a decent meal at such a late hour. He recommended The Fish Grill 1 block away. He described it as no frills, casual, just a great joint with great food. He was not wrong. Best calamari I've ever had. Ribeye steak was perfectly medium rare and tasty, and I'm from Kansas City, so that's saying something. A trifle thin for my preference and for the price but flavorful. Bourbon selection was non existent, but they did have Guinness. All the food we had was excellent. They were out of a few menu items but likely because it was so late. Several of the staff were arguing in front of the guests about how late it was and how busy they were. And table sat after us got waited on before us so minus a star for that. But once we got squared away with a waitress everything was aces. They have breakfast so we'll give that a try tomorrow.

Want fish and fresh oysters this is your place. They have a good selection of beers and spirits, good customer service, and they are taking good precautions with Covid.
The food was honestly only okay..Owner definitely needs to reinvest some money back into the business it’s a bit run down. Menu has photos that are faded and not even available. Broken ceiling fans that look like they haven’t been dusted in 10 years. Tables that have seen better days. Our waitress was amazing though.

We were at the airport early and decided to find a place close for breakfast. Saw the big white sign advertising breakfast and decided to try it. Wow, we’re we pleasantly surprised! Great breakfast and will definitely go back for a fish dinner in the near future!!! Great food and service.
