A quiet, clean, and rustic cabin experience with a grassy play area and beautiful views of the Sawtooths. We stayed in Cabin No. 1 (a smaller cabin) for 3 days in the middle of July in 2018. We will definitely return. The cabin appears to have been built in the 1930s or 1940s with a warm patina on the wood logs. It is all very cozy (see our photos). There is a front porch with three chairs overlooking a large grass lawn. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and reading in the evening. Folks were using the front porch to dry their gear and cloths in the evening. Our cabin came with two beds – a double and a single. We opted to sleep one person per bed. Both beds were very comfortable, and neither of us had a back ache in the morning. The bathroom is small but functional, with a shower insert installed after the fact (this cabin did not originally have a bathroom). There is a heater in the ceiling that is turned on by flipping the applicable breaker switch (we never used the heater). There is a small closet with basic storage shelves, and there is a table and two chairs in the back corner. We had plenty of room for our gear, and we stored our assembled fly rods in the logs across the ceiling (see photo). There is no air conditioning, but the cabin remained cool during the day even though the temps were in the high 80s to low 90s. We would open two windows in the evening and a cool breeze made sleeping a pleasure. We could hear vehicles on the main road during the night, but the traffic diminished as the night went on and thus was not an issue. Note, there is no TV, fridge, or microwave, but there is internet. While old, the cabin was very clean. We loved staying here. It was nostalgic, quiet, and restful.

Pretty basic, but adequate. More like camp than hotel. Plan on doing not much more than sleeping here. Still, I liked it.
