Friendly place, staff always greets everyone when they walk in. I mainly go there for skate sharpens. When I was at this location last the store had no goalie equipment. Now they do, very happy about that. Thanks.

They depend far too much on the Bauer automatic measuring machine... you have to beg them to try something that the machine doesn't recommend...and then they act as if they are doing you a favor. It's hard to find a helpful person that actually has an idea of how to fit a skate... the guy with the glasses that has been there forever is too opinionated and dismissive...it's his way or the highway. Pass on the whole thing. Going back to Cook's in Wilmington.

The store is good and the staff are nice guys. However, Since they went to the automated skate sharpening machines, the quality of the sharpening has gone way down. I won't get skates sharpened there anymore.

Although I got a really good price on last year's model skate, I would not come back here to get fitted again. They used some Bauer machine to measure my foot and pick my skate. I've been skating in a vapor size 10 for the last 10 years. The machine put me in a size 9 supreme. The salesman didn't really want to hear that I thought the machine was wrong, and went on and on about how much experience he had and how he was never wrong. When the size 9s didn't fit, he moved on to another customer and didn't really pay much more attention to me. I'm used to the excellent service at both TSR and Cooks, where the salespeople know the product, know how to fit skates, and know how to listen to and pay attention to their customer. This place had none of that.

Good to note.. this store doesn't carry any goalie gear. Rest of the store looked pretty stocked.
