This Labor Day weekend was our first trip and also our first naturist experience and we loved it. The campground itself is much nicer than most. It has every amenity you could want --multiple volleyball courts, a concession stand, a heated pool, a hot tub we spent a lot of time in and tons of other things. It's easily a place to park, set up, and not have to leave for a food run, or anything really, because just about everything you'd need is there. All guests and members were friendly and inviting. Hospitable and accommodating. They answered our questions and were kind enough to offer beers and food to us as well. We went here anticipating the hiking trails on the property and they did not disappoint. We saw a decent share of wildlife and enjoyed how well the pond trail is kept. The fact that this is a co-op goes a long way. I believe it keeps visitor's prices affordable--but it also surrounds you in this ineffable sense of community, the kind that's getting harder and harder to find. We definitely plan on coming back next year.

A couple years ago it used to be a lot better. A lot has gone down hill and then they upped the guest price to 30 dollars. It seems like they don’t want a lot of new comers. So instead of going all the time it’s one of those things you do a few times a year. Very disappointing.

I went for my first visit last summer and the overall atmosphere was unbeatable. The people are really what make WTL what it is. The camp in general is very nice and has lots of areas to enjoy. I really enjoyed most how welcomed I felt. I hope to be back soon.

Spent the 4th of July weekend camping at White Thorn Lodge & loved it! I ran the State Line Streak Nude 5K, spent a good bit of time bobbing in the pool, walked the grounds, talked with a lot of friendly, happy people, shared some good food and just generally had a fine naked holiday!

Very friendly and a great place to be. They have lots of activities to keep you busy or you can just lounge around by the pool. I always tent camp in the "flats," it's very quiet and relaxing in that area.

Whether you are an experienced nudist or one who wants to experience the inner peace and acceptance that come with social nudity for the first time, this is a great place! We've been here when the power went out, and everyone was pitching in to help - even guests like us. There is a real family atmosphere, with kids of all ages safely growing up to think and act naturally about their bodies, and not be sexualized as they are so often. I say "safely" because there are strict rules about overt sexual displays, places for kids to go were adults without kids MAY NOT GO, and activities planned on the weekends especially for the under 18 crowd. All I can say is that I am changed by the freedom and peace I experience here, even as a "fat chick". I've danced naked, and I don't dance - ever. I've spent hours in the pool, and I normally don't swim because I'm ashamed of how I look in a bating suit. Here there is no shame. There is no hiding who you are. There is only the joy of discovering the YOU that is under all the clothing, the thoughts of inadequacy, and the pain of not being what you think you should be. YOU are awesome. And more normal than you think. Come find out here!
