The take-out is so good and convenient. We got the pulled pork, pulled chicken. Sides Mac and Cheese, Potato salad, Collard green and the most amazing baked beans. Oh, and an order of the best chicken wings out there. They have limited hours; Thursday and Friday lunch and dinner and Saturday lunch. Great Davidson spot.

The pulled pork here is just as good as two of my faves: Big Tiny's in Mooresville and Smoke Pit in Kannapolis. Portions in the Family Packs are generous and everything is tasty. So glad to have quality BBQ in this area after Crazy Pig (Davidson) was such a disappointment.
Smokey Jay's catered our wedding just this week and we couldn't have been more pleased with how everything turned out! They are such friendly people and you can tell they really care about providing quality food and service. They were so easy to work with and when we had to postpone due to covid, the transition was seamless. I'm so happy with our decision to go with them for our catering needs. Guests are already raving and asking about them only a day later. I highly reccomend them!!
The food is excellent! The night shift manager made things right when GrubHub messed up the delivery of the order that had been dropped of at another customer house. Smokey J's BBQ went out of their way to get the food my house and we were not disappointed. We will certainly visit in person, no more GrubHub for us.
This place was absolutely amazing!!! The ribs were falling off the bone and the brisket was nice and juicy. Each mouthful was succulent and tender. We tried both of the BBQ sauces and even bought some to take home. I wish we lived closer to this place because my girlfriend and I would be going back every week. Totally worth the drive up from Charlotte!
