I'm very grateful that I have found a music academy such as this one. My daughter has been attending for a few months now, and I am very pleased with everything. From the other parents helping one another to the children helping each other. This academy brings such a warm and welcoming feeling.

Amazing with kids and parents alike. Mr. Coff really builds a relationship of trust with his students and produces results. You can tell the children really feel comfortable around him, kids and parents often spend hours talking with him outside of lessons.

Richard Coff, I came to your establishment a few weeks ago. For one hour you brushed us off and continued your lessons with other students. What was the point of scheduling this appointment? At no time did you even attempt to sit down and educate us about your school or the Suzuki method. You had the nerve to basically tell me WHILE MY CHILD SAT NEXT TO YOU that "It would be better if she continued her regular formal training, because this may be TOO DIFFICULT FOR HER". REALLY?! Richard Coff MY daughter speaks three languages FLUENTLY, taught herself how to play the piano by ear BEFORE she took on formal lessons, and is teaching herself how to play the guitar AT 6! You never gave us a chance! What type of EDUCATOR discourages a child from learning something new? I read a review about your behavior online but decided to give you a chance. I should have listened to the review and saved my gas! We have since found another Suzuki Instructor.

My son has been attending the academy since 2012. The classes are taught right in front of the parents. The teacher gives personal and group instruction, creating a collaborative environment where kids get to help each other too. What I love the most is that the academy is not only about music but rather a place where kids are treated with outmost respect with the firm expectation to gain excellence in technique as well as growth in character. Younger kids and teenagers alike love coming to class. The tuition is very reasonable and you can take advantage of extra classes during school breaks at no extra cost. I feel very fortunate to have found this school and happily travel 13 miles to get to it, which also brings the point that is super convenient that there are classes during weekdays and weekends as well! One last thing; the school organizes concerts at the academy and in a few other places through out the year and it amazes me to see how the teacher manages to include kids of all levels to perform together, one can not help but notice how proud and happy the feel to participate.

My daughter is a student of Richard Coff at Suzuki Music Academy. She attended the Academy through her elementary and high school years, and during breaks while at college. She is applying to medical school now, and I credit much of her academic successes to her studies at this fine school. The formal, yet child centered approach, and the help of caring teachers allowed her to develop musical skills in a natural way with attention to quality in terms of form and technique. She is able to play at a very high level, but always learned at her own pace. Her experiences there: playing in front of large audiences (in groups and solos), helping teach younger children, working with parents, etc., all helped her to develop confidence and social skills as well. The sense of comradery there and team building atmosphere is truly unique and special. She participated in cultural exchange programs from students from India and Japan and has made life-long friends. Mr. Coff is exceptional; he knows how to work with young children, older kids, and adults, too. He is well-loved! He is extremely intelligent, and one of the best Suzuki teachers around. He actually trained with Dr. Sinichi Suzuki himself, so he teaches authentically. I cannot recommend this academy enough! It truly is a gem for the South Florida community!

Never actually made it to attending the school. I was informed that since I work and never actually spend any time with my children this wouldn't be a good fit. The very pompous gentleman I spoke with even told me that maybe if I win the lottery I wouldn't have to work so much and could be at home more.
