It is a wonderful place, great for children and families. Very easy to maintain social distancing during this pandemic. It is possible to buy food there, but options are limited, so if you have specific needs I would recommend to bring something to eat.. A must go if you live in the area! We will be back soon

This was such a wonderful experience! The tram tour guide (I don't remember her name but she had short grey hair) was fantastic with a great voice. Shannon, the birds of prey expert, was so friendly and knowledgeable, a real gem! Pam at the front desk was great too.

Very nice preserve for protected native Florida wildlife. Amazing variety of both animals and plants. Great gift shop. There is an outdoor snack bar. The bus tour within the park is a must (very educational) and is included in the price of admission. Most of the workers are volunteers. Buy some bird food at the front entrance for a fun experience up close with any and all of the free roaming birds. They eat right out of your hand.

Always a wonderful trip. If you love birds this is a wonderful place. The flamingos are beautiful and they have many other species around the park. Peacocks roam the park freely. Perfect place to take kids and grandparents - plenty of benches and shade. Wheel chair friendly as well! They even have wheel chair accomodations on the tram ride. Every employee is very friendly and you can end the trip getting some great things from the gift shop!

We really enjoyed our visit here. The tropical grounds are lovely. My 5 year old loved the aviary bad feeding all the birds. There is also a team ride through the beautiful acrage. It was a nice easy way to spend the afternoon.
