We stopped in for coffee on Saturday and Sunday during our weekend trip to Canaan recently. The same woman was working both times and was friendly and make great recommendations to us. The coffee and muffins were delicious, and the cute pup lounging by the fire made my day. On Sunday, we had driven nearly 4 hours back home when we realized our credit card was missing. We called TCS and thankfully they had it. They offered to mail it back to us and we received it a couple days later, along with some super cute stickers - so thoughtful. Thank you so much, Wayne - what a relief!! We will definitely be coming back here every time we're in town.

Good setting and seating. Only been here once. Coffee was fine. Server was having a bad day I guess. But nice place to for coffee break on your trip around the area.

Fabulous service and even better coffee. Service was quick and coffee was hot. Appreciated variety of dairy alternatives for creamer. Can't speak to espresso, but I loved the local WV roasted coffee blend which tasted freshly brewed.

I am all about service and don't mind paying if quality of the product and service is good. I would hope that any establishment especially small businesses during a global pandemic, being kind is integral when customers walk through the door. We came for a relaxing long weekend and had just finished a hike at Blackwater Falls. We were then wanting a nice cup of coffee and indeed we did have one. But the older lady behind the counter was not friendly and degraded the young girl working the register. In addition, we did not receive a warm welcome (from the older woman) from behind the counter from the moment we walked into the door. The young lady was kind. This was unfortunate, for the coffee and hot chocolate were outstanding. I hope this constructive feedback is used to improved customer service.

Our lattes were very good and they have a nice selection of milk alternatives. The pecan brownie was amazing!! Very cozy--will be a comfy place to relax once covid restrictions are lifted

Small place but cappuccino and hot chocolate was perfect to keep warm us up after having a wonderful day at the state park. Service was good and quick.

I ordered tea today. The owner/worker added the loose tea in a tea bag and then with his hand (no gloves), soaked it under running water and smooshed the tea bag again with his hand no gloves, prior to adding it to the cup. I indicated that im not interested in that tea since he has been touching all over the wet tea bag with his hand. He said that they don’t have gloves and not required in their shop. He was polite about it and did not charge me for the tea, which makes my one/two star, three star. This lack of hygiene is not even acceptable pre-Covid era.

Coffee was really good. Service? Meh. The barista was really fast and made great drinks, but he didn't seem to like people being in the shop. When our family of 4 first entered, we were told that only 3 could go in. No biggie, but it could have been said nicer. Then when I ordered my mocha cappuccino, I was corrected by the barista and told I meant latte. Nope. Cappuccino. I know the difference. After our drinks were made, I complimented the barista on his speed, and again, gruff response that they have to be to get people out of the store. I get it. Covid has people nervous. I have had it and lost a family member to it, but a little kindness goes a long way. That being said, my cappuccino was wonderful, but I doubt we will return. Doesn't seem like our business was wanted or appreciated.
