Found this contractor via HomeAdvisor where they had a 4.0 rating.. At this time, we still have a small, square HOLE in our floor, as these \professionals\ failed to inform us or use common sense and reschedule our job; went AHEAD with refinishing our floor w/o the vent/grate covers that we custom ordered in March. To top it all off, they did NOT leave us 2 to 3 stain samples as promised on first day of sanding, when we physically were all the way out to their small office in Clarkston and now, may be stuck with tricolored wood?! The floor techs also failed to fill-in quite noticeable cracks near doors/walkways and there are still rough spots as well as nailheads visible. When contacting Robert or now his son?, Michael Bargy, all they seem capable of is making up flimsy \explanations\ or excuses as to why the grate covers still haven't come in, why they couldn't even TRY to lighten a few of the darker boards and now REFUSE to even come out in person to see the mediocre job their employees B and P did! Such a waste of time & money, as they've got NO PROBLEM coming out to give a free quote but, once they've got your money...you'll probably not be seeing them again! Please read Diane Bibb's review also, as if I had we probably never would've hired Bargy & Company.

We couldn't be more satisfied with this company's service and the quality of the work, completed on time even though there were a few issues not determined before the work began. Jim and JR were able to beautifully handle everything that was revealed once the carpeting was removed. This company takes great pride in workmanship and dependability.
