This place is PHENOMENAL! We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else while we're out of town. The owners are kind, knowledgeable, and run a great kennel!
We have used Red Barn Kennels for many years now. Here are some of the reasons why: #1-The owners are there 24/7 which gives us a great piece of mind; #2-The owners are extremely hands on business people, who love all the pets that come there and take their obligations very seriously; #3-The wife/owner, Shelley is a certified dog trainer and also certified in agility training; #4-I would imagine that 3/4's of their clients are repeats like us; #5 their entire property and facilities are kept immaculately clean and #6-They have several areas/if not all, for their guests that are AstroTurf playgrounds with dog toys in the playground areas.
Two years ago a neighbor recommended Red Barn Kennel to me, and I've been forever grateful. My canine girls are well taken care of and get plenty of exercise, playing with the other visitors at the kennel, when I have to be gone, and can't take my girls with me. I can be away, knowing they're in good hands.
We have left our two fur-kids at Red Barn Kennels on many occasions, and as long as 14-16 days/nights at a time. The owners are very loving, caring, attentive, compassionate and treat each fur-kid as individuals. Whatever their needs may be are met with knowledge and care. The owners have continually upgraded their facilities to make it a one of a kind experience, and I would recommend Red Barn Kennels to anyone and everyone that I meet and know.
