My fiance and I have received outstanding support and assistance through daybreak. They have amazing resources and have saved us from homelessness :) couldn't be more grateful to have such an amazing community.
Most of the staff also volunteer outside of work. This is a place of caring and love. It is not \Institutionalized living\ by any means. They realize the potential of young adults in vulnerable situations. Most of their people who \left the program\ end up being self-supportive and thriving individuals. The staff is behind the scenes mentoring and coaching and cheerleading them onward as they embark on life's journey to fulfill their dreams.
Incredible people doing Incredible things.
It's a good place only if your homeless for temp shelter. But they hold peoples hands. Do not show people how to do things on their own. Even after people find permanent housing.
