Was recently arrested by these folks and was never told if my car was being impounded and if so where or how or anything on how to go about getting my car now since my release. Basically they took my car keys and my car and didn't advise me of such and sent me on my way to county. This be the other way around and I would be charged with auto theft but it's fine when the cops do it. Also, didn't find out until I arrived at county that my phone wasn't put in my property and transport said he \guesses\ it is still at this \public safety\ department. Maybe I should talk to a attorney, I don't know, I just feel like they pulled one over on me because their the cops and no one can tell them otherwise.

I and my 3 year old son and just went to the touch a truck at at the public safety office he was more than ecstatic as soon as he walked in ok, I was too, just seeing the fire trucks and police cars. We were able to look at everything and of course Touch-A-Truck.(he's in the why stage,) the Fireman Kyle and a police officer answered every question he asked always in a happy and fun tone. This is a wonderful fun free and learning activity. It runs from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday.

I had just pulled out of a hotel on a four lane street, and passed a car going very slow on my right. A cop going the opposite direction saw me do this, and did a U and pulled me over. Claimed I was going 45. Not a chance, as I had just pulled out of a hotel in my weak rental car. Claimed he was going 80 to catch up, and said he had proof of me speeding. Of course I wanted to see the proof, so he shows me a video of himself doing 80 to catch up to me. How very safe, officer. And that only proves he was speeding. But seeing as I'm a tourist, I was smacked with a massive speeding ticket, which they knew I would never come back and fight. My opinion is that this is a corrupt town. This is why your tourism is going down the dumps, and I will advice ervyone to avoid this area.

I wondered into a psychic shop while on vacation a little too drunk. Rather than being kind and asking me to leave, they started immediately yelling at me and shoving me out the door. I just stood outside of their store and talked to them about the bible a bit. They then called the police. This PD believed their made up story and arrested me, despite the shop not wanting to press charges! My gf was crying begging for them to let me walk back across the street to our hotel. Even the lifeguard cop pleaded with the daytona beach shores cops to let me go. They locked me into a cold hard room for like 5 hours for preaching the gospel. it became obvious once I got to the holding cell that they literally arrested me for something to do. Almost missed my flight and am now being dragged through the court system.

Our question related to the proper installation of a child safety seat for our grandchild's upcoming visit, and the response was that installation by a certified specialist was recommended but that their office wouldn't provide such service/support due to potential \liability\. At a minimum, if a certified specialist was appropriate, then perhaps they could recommend someone who could provide this service.....
