I rented an affordably priced studio to live in while I was a student at UNM. I started being harassed by a neighbor who went on to send letters to me impersonating Deacon Property Services. The company did nothing to stop the harassment from the neighbor and just agreed to let me out of my lease. When it came time to get my security deposit and pro-rated rent they made sure to give me a bill that implied that a cleaning fee of *the exact amount of my security deposit* was charged. They have some seriously shady business practices and I would avoid them.

I set up an appointment to view 2 properties. The first property had no driveway, carport or garage. That is a significant issue that was not noted on the rental description. To park on the street, a person is required to go through the steps to obtain a special permit. None of this was mentioned when I spoke to the agent at the property management company. As soon as I arrived at the rental property, I began asking questions about parking since it was quite evident there was none. The second property that I viewed had cigarettes lying all over the front porch. When I walked inside the rental unit, the entire place was being renovated. Due to all of the construction equipment, it was not safe to walk inside. It was a true danger zone.

Definitely recommend!! They were great to me and my husband. After some personal troubles, they quickly were able to find, show, and move us into a beautiful new apartment within 2 days of our inquiry! Leasing was easy and kind, and we got into our new apartment Quickly and easily! The property manager Kristine was an absolute delight and answered all of my questions, as well as bent over backwards for my needs. The woman at the front desk was so pleasant I could’ve talked with her for hours!! It was such a relief to receive such kind and useful service in our time of need. Definitely contact them for properties and services.

I have dealt with Deacon Property Services for a decade now and have to say they have to be the best property service in NM. Kyle Deacon was recommended to me when I had to rent my house. For years while I lived in NM and then later moved to FL, Kyle and his team took care of everything for me. I never had to worry and knew he would call if there were significant problems. When I finally was able to put my house on the market, Kyle Deacon along with his co-broker Chris Weller took command and oversaw all the renovations and work for me. With all that they did, my house was on the market for much more than I expected it to be and went under contract within 2 days! I highly recommend Deacon Property Services to anyone considering renting or selling!!
