The branch in the US is great ,helpful and supportive. But when the wire transferred to Lebanon where I was told no charges my wife was charged 20 . I am not concerned about the money but the bad experience my wife had with the nasty and impolite people in Lebanon was immoral .I made a mistake but will never happen again .

He charged me 16 to send western union even though it’s 10.99. Crook haram on him that’s what I get for being in a rush and not checking. Note: that he charged me exactly what was on my receipt which was 16.00 while every other place charges 10.99.

I needed Chinese Yuan for a trip to China in September 2019. Atlantic had over 650 worth on hand (did not need to order it) and gave me the best rate I could find in the Detroit area. At Metro airport, the exchange rate was 6:1. At Atlantic, it was 6.7:1. When you are trading several hundred dollars of US currency, that is a BIG difference. My experience at the counter was also very pleasant. The people working the counter and (I think) the owner made the exchange an enjoyable experience. I recommend that anyone looking to exchange foreign currency consider Atlantic. I think they will find it to be an excellent option for their travel and currency needs.

Went to this place after it states online they’re open from 9am , I get there and there is a sign saying they will open at 10, came back 9:50 and there was a line already, waited 30 minutes and when it was my turn, I had filled a transaction through WesternUnion on the app, I get to the window and the owner tells me they do not accept that, I told the owner why not post a sign outside stating you do not accept the WesternUnion transaction created through the app which shows on the WesternUnion app that they are a participant, he ignored and was being rude, people should definitely take their business else where, somewhere they will be appreciated for their business, very unprofessional, worst part is, it was the owner who did that. Perhaps the reason is what another review stated, they want you to pay the full fee because the app offers promotions, so they do not wanna lose some of their profit. I took my business else where and I was in and out of there in 5 minutes, the whole point of doing the transaction through the app is to save time which is something they failed miserably at.
