Newly redesigned, modern look and feel, this sub shop has a lot of history and has been making delicious subs as far back as I can remember back in my high school days. The philly steak is packed with meat and the sauce is great. They have some amazing boneless wings and the raging hot sauce is pretty spicy. The boneless chicken is big chunks not just small nuggets like most places. I highly recommend you pay them a visit.

I wouldn't say it's bad, but I wouldn't say it's great either. I've been there a couple of times since they reopened, and both times my wait wasn't an issue, and the staff was reasonably friendly. The new remodeling is nice, but I would prefer to see the cooking area. Makes me nervous that they felt they needed to hide it. Both times the sandwich was pretty good, but if they are using the same ingredients (as they claim they are), they're doing something wrong with the cooking or seasoning. My chicken was definitely overcooked and a bit stringy. I wonder if the new owner spends much time in here since they seem to have these ongoing service issues, but all things considered I would probably still come back, but with the price increase and smaller menu it won't be on my regular rotation (at least every other week) like it used to be before it was sold and Ricky was in there every day manning the grill and making you feel welcome.
Ricky's is a classic. I personally think they lay on the superior end as far as their chicken subs go. Their steak is not too bad at all. The portions are huge and extremely generous. Flavor is great. You won't be unsatisfied. I'm a chubby chicken guy all day.
the environment at ricky’s is great. the subs smell amazing all the way from the seating areas. the new remodeling is fantastic with a modern take on an old fashion look. the owners did a really great job with balancing the remodeling, staffing, etc. with corona going on. the food is definitely worth the wait no matter how long it takes to prep the food. the staff works extra hard, they didn’t stop moving the entire time. i will definitely be back!!
Professional, friendly staff. Nice and clean. The best philly steak around. You got to go and try for yourself.
