While transiting south on my 35 foot sailboat SeaEagle, I encountered fuel issues with my 39 HP Yanmar diesel. I contacted Deaton Yacht Service for assistance and was very pleased with their prompt service and professionalism. Mike was dispatched to our vessel at Oriental Marina & Inn. He quickly identified and remedied our fuel issues. Moreover, he was very knowledgeable and willing to explain how to avoid these issues in the future. At his suggestion, we purchased additional filters to prevent this type of problem from recurring. I give Deaton Yacht Service a five star rating for their prompt, reasonable, courteous, and professional service!
June 2020 Deaton Yacht Service is a well managed yard that perform repairs for almost any boat system. Many parts are in stock at the extensive parts department or easily obtained. There is a system for scheduling, estimates, and consultation with owners. The service professionals and staff are top notch. The yard is located close to the shops and restaurants in the village. We will join the large number of repeat customers when we pass through Oriental, NC.
