I have known Angela Cotton for 30 years. She has watched me grow up and promoted my eye health and self esteem. She has worked hard for years perfecting her art as an ocularist. Ms. Cotton understands what her patients go through just to get to her door. She loves her patients & fights for her patients and their best outcome. She fought for me. Her office has spent countless hours working with physician’s offices and insurance companies to make sure I have paid as little out of pocket as possible. Unquestionably, she is the best the southeast has to offer for ocular prosthetics. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Thank you Angela Cotton (& Lori ) for loving and giving me the confidence I needed for life!

My daughter, Evelyn, saw her a few times as an infant due to Microphthalmia. Angela Cotton and her staff, particularly receptionist Evelyn, were always very kind and helpful. I wished we lived closer, and if we ever move back to the area we would certainly continue to use her for our prosthetic needs. She is undoubtedly the best ocularist on the east coast/ south east. One thing I admired about her work was instead of using sharpies on the prosthetics to label the direction, like most ocularists do, she used a different method which removed the need of using sharpie/ink (which always seemed to irritate my daughters eye). Her fit were always great. Great with young children. Really no complaints, I highly recommend her and her office and I send everyone i know around that region to her.
Im disabled and on fixed income. I have insurance thru my disability. Before I went I asked if they took my insurance. The secretary Evelyn said yes. So I made a appt today at 1030 am. I cannot drive due to my disability. I called a lyft. The cost was 44.51 one way. It was 41.2 miles 57 mins. I get there. I was told by Evelyn to call and she would bring the paperwork outside for me to fill out. I called twice no answer and knocked on the door no answer. I opened the door stuck my head in. I had my mask on. Evelyn flipped out on me. Asked who I was I told her my name and my appt time. She said your supposed to call. I said I called twice and knocked on the door. She then let me in. I came inside filled out the paperwork. Once I got back to see Ms. Cotton. Ms. Cotton was very nice. She asked me several questions about my visit. I then asked her about if she took my insurance. She said no we don't. I was floored. I told her my issues I stated above. She went to the front and \talked\ with Evelyn. Came back to her office. She apologized several times to me. She told me the out of pocket cost. She then found another person in the same field as herself. So I could see if they took my insurance. I said thank very much. I then left. I called the same lyft driver to come and pick me up and take me home. I wish Evelyn would have told me they didn't take my insurance. I spent about 75 on lyft. It would have saved me the money and time. Just to be clear Ms. Cotton was super nice and very apologetic to me. Thank you. Update 10/20/2020 Miss Cotton reached out to me on the phone. We talked she again apologized for what happened. She said she would reimburse me the money I spent. Today I received the reimbursement. Thank you.
I met Angela Cotton for the first time last week. Wow! She is an awesome person and the best Ocularist in Georgia! I enjoyed my time at her office working with her. Her and her staff made me feel very comfortable. She created the perfect prosthetic eye for me. It is absolutely beautiful and I feel more normal today than I have in a very long time. I thanked God all the way back to Dahlonega for giving us Angela Cotton! Again, thank you Angela for all that you do!
