When ever you’re dealing with a issue with any housing authority call the board of commissioner/ board of supervisors of Atlanta and report your issue with housing. The board of commissioners are over every county building whether it’s section 8 or welfare. These people can get in trouble for not doing their job. Report them and they will contact the housing authority and investigate your issues.

Terrible. They pass the buck take their time to help and make it all your fault when deadlines aren't meet. Wish I didn't need them . Really sucks depending on such programs that are pose to help us who are low income obtain housing . I'm homeless due to them wasting my and their time taking weeks now going on a month and it's not ever pose to take that long . Yes it can but should not put babies and children in the street for lack of handling things promptly. If if I worked this where it makes sense to y'all bhut hope it helps.

The attitudes the unprofessionalism it seems like they come straight from the club to work and don't call their because they will never pick up the phone and then when you show up because they're not picking up the phone they brush you off it is sad to say the white folks do better than the black folks when it comes to these kinds of jobs they really need to recheck some of these people's credentials because I truly don't believe they're working there legally I called from time they open to time they close no answer that whole day somebody need to check into this this is ridiculous

I lowered the rent so this section 8 disable lady with 5 children can have a place to live. The Decatur Housing Inspector came and inspected the place and he did not approve the plumbing along with some other non-safety, non-sense issues. when he left the tenant called and said \leak under all sinks and water heater does not work\. I sent a certify experience plumber to fix the plumbing he reported that all pipes have been twisted during inspection(before inspection no leak no twisted pipe). We replaced all damaged pipes under the four sinks with other non-sense non safety issues, the inspector did not agree with the certify plumber and did not pass the inspection. The lady had to move out. I agree with safety issues but if there is no leak under the sinks and state certify license plumber did the job why inspector did not pass the plumbing. You can not argue with the inspector, neither can complain, he can do whatever he wants to do.

This housing authority does not deserve a star, they are rude, they have attitudes, and multiple workers tell you different things regarding your case and confuses you. They have attitudes when you ask questions. I am not from here I transferred my voucher here from Ohio and I have been getting the run around, I only been here for 3 months and this is how I get treated. They hung up on me twice and i'm always on hold for at least 45 minutes to an hour every time I call. Someone needs to do something about this business and all of their attitudes are not acceptable and I would not recommend this place to anyone for future references.
