I recently reached out to Emory ACU to obtain a car loan. The rates were the best I found but even better was the associate Marlene Richardson who helped me. She went above and beyond to help guide me in obtaining the best rate. Furthermore I was in and out in about 20 minuets in getting an account set up and getting a check for the dealership. Marlene was so fast, efficient, professional and friendly. I can't say enough good things!

I have been a member of Emory Alliance Credit Union since 2008 and am very disappointed with the level of service received. I do understand that the credit union has policies that they adhere to, however, my understanding is that they are also in place to assist members when needed. We are not merely figures or credit scores on paper; however, I was treated as such. No one was aware of what has happened to me since 2017, including the death of both parents, and no one bothered to ask nor did they care. Up until 2017 I had an excellent financial record. When I called to inquire about any type of assistance including with an unauthorized charge on my account that caused a domino effect, I was given scripted answers by a person who was clearly uninterested, and told that I could leave my name and number and someone would call back. When I asked for the name of someone over the Credit Union who I could write to about my experiences, that information never came. Often it's hard to get in touch with them and they were closed on Wednesday when I had an emergency situation. I see this as most other institutions who are concerned with profit only and not members.

These people that work here are the worst. The branch manager and her assistants located off Clairmont are ridiculously unprofessional. Normally, I don’t review, but the distasteful and horrid conduct there deserves to be made known. Take your money elsewhere. They seem as if they have too many personal interests when in actuality they are acting in emotion instead of doing what’s best for business for the bank. It’s just sad.

DON'T DO IT! If you were thinking about opening an account I promise you do not want to bother with this institute ever please, emory students/employees it is not worth the convenience. STAY FAR AWAY! Randomly put a hold on my account with all of my money mid-day for no reason just because and then I can't get anyone on the phone because it's the weekend. If I could leave the stars blank oh baby I would. I am completely stuck, I can't transfer my money out to my other accounts or anything. Huge inconvenience especially when I was meant to be traveling. I wonder if anything will actually be done to make this right... Oh and to add this is NOT the first incident that has happened where they have done something so abruptly and without communicating with me at all. This is the 4th strike!
