Actually very very good. In and out quickly. Folks happy to help. Got issues solved asap. Who says you can't have positive experience with the govt? . Nice people. It's nice to be able to say something nice too!

Five Stars all the way for this facility! Special thank you to Brian, who’s a manager here, for helping out tremendously on what would have been an incredibly stressful day. This location does a great job balancing guests safety in the Covid-Era, and keeping the lines moving. I’m grateful for the whole team at the Deerfield Secretary of State office. Stay healthy and be happy everyone :)

I want to describe the kindness shown to me on January 27 when I came to get a temporary disability placard. It was a very cold day, and when was told that I could not sit inside to wait while the placard was brought to me, the worker must have seen the despair in my eyes. He asked me where my car was parked, for its make and color, and advised me to go wait in it until he brought the placard to me. I was able to sit in my vehicle with the heat on and the radio playing until he knocked on the window and handed me the placard. Thank you so much, and keep up the good work!

QUICKER IF YOU'RE OLD I arrived today about 6:25 a.m. There were already approximately 12 people ahead of me. The gentleman outside working the line reviewed my paperwork to be certain that I had all the needed documents. He then took them, went inside; came back and returned them to me along with a number. He then led me to the “senior” line where I was the second person. We waited until the facility opened at 7:30 sharp. Age has its privileges and we oldsters were ushered inside. Very efficient service inside where my photo was taken, all my documents were reviewed, scanned; I paid and was on my way in about 20 minutes. Kudos to the people that work there. The 2 gentlemen outside and the one inside whose line I was in, deserve a lot of praise, very friendly and efficient. JUST A HINT – For quicker service for everyone, have your documents ready. Go on line to review what you need and have them ready IN HAND and in order. Labeled with post-it notes would help. Waiting in line I couldn’t believe the number of people that walk up unprepared; even digging for their licenses out of their purse or wallet. If I worked there, that would get old; fast.

I understand it's difficult right now with covid, but my experience was pretty good today with getting a renewal. It takes a while outside, but only 20-30 mins when you get inside. Be prepared for the weather I forgot an umbrella so that wasn't fun. All employees I spoke with were nice and helpful, but obviously not the same for all customers. When you get inside you will see why it takes a while just not a lot of space and every other station is open. Hopefully don't need to go back for a while so be patient!
