Gorgeous in the fall. 5 entrance fee.
This is kind of like daycare for your car, except without graham crackers and milk. I asked my car for it’s opinion of this park and ride, but I guess it didn’t feel like talking that day. So if it’s okay with everyone, I’ll speak on it’s behalf. I usually only park here during Summerfest and State Fair when I take the shuttle bus into the city, but overall it seems like a pretty decent place to leave your car. It’s free, clean, spacious, and I’ve never noticed any broken glass, used hypodermic needles, or broken crack pipes on the ground. So it has that going for it.
Well maintained lot a great resource for rideshare
Nice little sandy beach area, love that there is a playground next to it. Not fond of the rocky shore, recommend wearing water shoes if you're going to go in the water. Slight hike to beach from parking lot, but it's an easy trail mostly wooden bridge, completely wheelchair and stroller accessible.
