We really enjoyed our stay at the Gee Creek Campground. Our site was perfect and bordered Gee Creek. My son loved catching small fish in the creek. We also had fun exploring the nearby Hiwassee River and connecting creeks. The campground is great for families. The rangers patrol regularly and it gets super quiet at night. The staff at the office are extremely friendly and helpful.

Primitive camping. No running water or electric. There were hot showers in the bathhouse. Quiet park. Many sites to choose from. Beautiful river near by. Canoeing near by. 15 a night.

Flip Flops is a fun, outdoor hamburger joint. The portions are generous. Last year I ate a veggie burger there and it was pretty bad. This year (2020) it was good! There is a spot to feed the fish. A turtle also came to enjoy the free meal. Pets were there. Large eating area covered.

Story walk trail and nice playground. Nice waterfall worth the mile hike (up a small service road by the office). Wish there was easier river access but the boat ramp has a nice swimming spot.
