Flying with Dan around Mt Denali was a highlight of our trip to Alaska! Amazing, breathtaking views of the mountain and Denali NP. Dan makes you feel at ease if you aren't used to flying in small planes, and his knowledge of all facets of the area is excellent. He knew all the wildlife, plant life, mountain climbing history and routes, and more. Great experience!

Dan has been flying the Alaska Range for 20 seasons and it definitely shows. He’s an excellent narrator and pulls history of both humankind involvement and geologic history into a personal delivery over sound deadening headphones. I’ve flown the area many times in the years I piloted ( 1980 - 2015 ) and this was the best trip ever. My wife agrees too. As a side note, a positive effect of the COVID -19 is a relaxed air with no long lines to compete with.

The flight around Denali is AMAZING. Seeing the mountain is awe inspiring. Landing on a glacier is also amazing. The whole trip was well worth the money. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

One of the highlights on our trip to Alaska. Denali Air is definitely a hidden gem right near the park entrance. They are family owned and truly love what they do. After another flightseeing operator wasted our time, Denali Air saved the day for my family.... They made us feel like part of theirs! Our pilot Bob was engaging and fun. His Piper Navajo aircraft was clean and well maintained. Views of Mt. Denali from Bob's plane were breathtaking. He knew exactly how to get the plane into position for the best possible viewing. While the star attraction was Mt. Denali, Bob pointed out numerous other equally as amazing sights along the way. My wife and daughter talked about this experience for days afterward. We can't wait to come back for another flight. P.S. Maybe I will have my pilots license by then.

What a great experience. When we first chose Alaska and talked about Denali one of the thing's I said I had no interest in flying over Denali in a small plane. Why? because I have vertigo and I didn't want to cause an episode. My family talked me into it and was so glad I did!!! That is by far the best way to see Denali! We we were lucky, we booked the day of and the staff was awesome. Very accommodating and really friendly. Pilot Bob (with one O) was so great! Knowledgeable, friendly, and amazingly the ride was pretty smooth. I didn't get sick, so there's that. If you go to Denali definitely go to these guys for any flightseeing you might want to do. You aren't going to see Denali any better.

Leave the bus tour behind! We took the Denali Air flightseeing tour on a spur of the moment decision. It was a superb decision and an absolute thrill and highlight of our Alaska trip. Nothing compares to this experience and the good weather afforded us photos of a lifetime. Thank you to our pilot Bob for a fantastic tour of Mother Nature's best!!! And a shout out to Jamin for talking to us about the flight!! THANK YOU!

Fantastic trip. It was the beat part of our cruise and inland journey. The pilot flew us close to Denali. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Dan was our pilot and he did an awesome job. He was very experienced as a pilot and provided a wealth of information. I would most definitely do it again.

Shuttle picked us up right on time at the McKinley Chalet Resort. Staff was amazingly friendly and had a lot of great stories about their time working in Alaska. Actual sightseeing flight was breathtaking, the pilot explained the mountain formations and shared a lot of great historical facts. While it may be an expensive tour, it is well worth the cost and we will do it again next time we are in Denali.
