Quick visit to see the humble beginnings of President Eisenhower. The visitor's center is currently closed due to COVID, but the staff has pamphlets available outside the center for self guided tours. Call ahead to reserve a time slot to do a self guided tour of the house. Masks are required. The staff was very friendly. Although the gift shop is closed for in store shopping, you can call to place your order and the employee will pop out with your bag of items. Very clean restrooms.

Such an interesting historical place. It doesn't take long to take it all in. The staff is wonderful too!!

It was closed when we arrived and you need to make a reservation in advance. The house was cool even though we could only peek through the windows.

We couldn't have had a better experience! We didn't have the needed tour reservation but the guide/manager/nice person told us how we could park closer and look in the windows. This is such a cool piece of history we stumbled upon today!!

As a homeschool family with boys that LOVE history... This stop was worth it! We loved walking the railroad tunnel that used to be right next to the house and seeing the history inside the home.
