Sam is the manager of the Denton location and this place is awesome because of his direction. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and available. It costs a bit more to buy plants here but good luck going to Home Depot or Lowe’s and asking anyone in the garden center for help about plants, temperature tolerance, planting instructions, sunlight etc...

Last 2 years have purchased a Christmas tree and once home the tree doesn’t take up water. No fresh cut we were promised it would take up water. We had to make a fresh cut very disappointing when you pay 169.00 for a tree.

I've been going to Calloway's for about three months now, and I adore the people there. They are always so helpful and knowledgeable. Graham and Scott (and others) have helped me with so many things, from testing my soil to finding tools I needed or giving opinion on which plant to buy. If I have a problem or question, I immediately go there. You will probably pay more than other nurseries (like Home Depot or Walmart), but you get what you pay for and it's never outrageous. They have an excellent selection and a wide variety of perennials, annuals, food, herbs, trees, and shrubs. As well as pots and other supplies. But the best part about it is the people.
