Great little store! Went here to buy a Gameboy Advance charger and really wanted to pick up a couple more things, sadly I didn't have enough. Planning on going here more often, though.

Found this place today on whim today, the owner was the person running the store and was a fantastic guy! I was looking buy a new N64 and instead of him making a quick buck and just selling me one he told me what I needed to do to get mine running again. Cant say the same for my copy of Pokemon Stadium but he had a pretty minty one for a very good price. Overall, nice store, good prices considering it is a store. Will be going back soon. Thank you!!

Great place to buy affordable games in Denton. I've bought multiple ps2 games there, as well as other consoles, and all the games have worked perfectly with no disc read errors. Huge selection of every consoles and you can find some hidden gems there.

Curt and his wife Denise were very helpful! Always fun to hang out and talk there, then help them out by buying something (not coerced, they’re just that nice)! Talk to Curt about Classic Macs or his Apple II GS and you could be there for hours discussing that stuff! Great business, and now that Freaks and Geeks is gone, the best local retro game store in Denton!

I've been to this store 5 or so times, all of them have been wonderful experiences which I have no negative thoughts or gripes with. The variety of games is vast, from Atari to Switch you can find any kind of game. There are also peripherals, TCG cards, consoles, movies, controllers, almost anything. The owner has an actual appreciation for video games and is also a very nice and sociable person. He doesn't try to swindle you into making an unwise decision, instead helping you. Times are very much trying when I'm writing this, it's very difficult to stay afloat for a smaller store. Any visit, trade, purchase, or review would help. Please support the people at CGX, they really do deserve it for how great this establishment is.

I love this store! Their selection is amazing. Their prices are also so good, comparable to eBay. Its not often that you can buy game titles for old systems! Let alone find some of the most obscure games. The owner of the store has been able to find some weird game that I couldn't remember. I gave a very simple description and was able to tell me the game title right away. They also give you the best trade in value of any game store for in store credit. For example I bought Super Smash for the 64 for 59.95 and traded it back in for 55 store credit! This is the best store in the entire Golden Triangle Mall!
