Hello everyone. Dr. Austin has been a great helped for us. She is helping us to have a good health and back to normal . So far, it has been working good for me and my husband. My husband has got his energy back and maybe he is thinking to stop completely taking his BP meds because his BP is down to low level. He is not snacking a lot like he used to. His motivation is back. We have been to our new diets and taking supplements for two weeks, but I can see a difference already. We are very excited for the results!! She is a good ND and hopefully my husband will stop taking his 2 meds anytime soon. I will keep you update in a coming months. Thanks again Dr. Austin.

This is NOT a medical practice!! If you are still following traditional doctor's advice, she may be able to help you feel better by offering some lifestyle change advice, but if you've done more extensive research and looking for specific help for a specific problem, don't waste your money. Dr. Austin is a doctor of Naturopathy from Clayton College of Natural Health, which after more research, is not accredited through the Department of Education. She is able to offer suggestions as to what vitamin supplements will help you feel better overall (many of which are cheaper through Amazon), but she is not able to diagnose or treat actual diseases or medical conditions. After having me fill out an extensive medical background form and knowing exactly that I needed help with suspected hypothyroidism, she didn't bother to tell me that she couldn't treat the hypothyroidism and waited until we were in the office to have me sign forms saying that I was \just joining a health club\. She did no quantitative testing to verify if I even needed the supplements she recommended, especially since I was already taking supplements recommended by another doctor. She just told me the one I was taking was wrong and told me to buy her more expensive ones. I'm very disappointed in the misrepresentation. I had been hopeful she'd be able to help me more, but now I hope you don't go to her with the same wrong expectations.

Dr. Barbara Austin is great! I was suffering with a lot of digestive issues and she helped me out tremendously! Definitely see her if you are looking for diet and lifestyle change for wellness!

Dr Austin is compassionate and knowledgeable. She takes the time to answer all of my questions and to educate me so that I will be motivated to make the lifestyle changes I need to make in order to live healthy and strong. I came to her several months ago seeking hormonal balance. I am now off all my prescriptions and feeling so much better. I love her approach, to support the body’s own immune system with nutrition so that it will heal itself-so much better than medicating and covering over the root problems!

I have had an issue with a skin rash and food allergys. My first visit with her was very encouraging. She gave advice that has had a good effect on my over all health. Giving good advice on my diet and supplements etc. She also takes the time to visit with you to find out what can be done. She seems to be really interested in you and her career as health care professional. People like that most always do better in their field.I also work in health care and every thing I have study she was right on. If you are looking for natural ways of caring for your health I would differently recommend her. If you are using natural and or traditional means she would be a great resource.
