Food was brought when it was ready and hot (didn’t sit around on a back counter getting cold and soggy, waiting for other people’s food to be ready at our table). Fish didn’t have all batter, nice amount of actually fish, and it was flaky (not rubbery). The pizza looked simple, but the flavor was popping with freshness (the herbs and cheese). Edit: We never get dessert, but the waitress convinced us to try the cheesecake...Omgosh! So fresh and light! I can usually taste chemicals and preservatives in desserts that are not made fresh...this had NO chemical aftertaste. It was wonderful!

We went on a Thursday evening & it was not busy. We sat outside & our service wasn't great. I ordered fish n chips and was pretty disappointed. Tiny portion (12) and bland. My kid had the frozen corn dogs & I preferred those to my fish. I might go back for a cocktail sometime, as it's a great location, but they need to reconsider their menu if they wanna last on the square.
This is a new hidden secret. This place has awesome food, outstanding service, amazing drinks, and it's basically an undiscovered diamond. Do you like tasty food? Then go here. Do you like a yummy adult beverage? Go here. This place does not get the praise it deserves.
I had been meaning to try this place for a month. Went for lunch. Good service. Great atmosphere. The best fish and chips I’ve had since I was in the UK. They have a good selection of European beers. I’m a fan of the place.
The Lion and Crown upstairs is a decent representation of an English pub. Their food menu is surprisingly robust and their draft beer selection is excellent (and very cheap on Mondays). Staff is super cool. The basement is a more traditional club, with another full bar, a stage (Karaoke on Mondays, again), lounge areas, pool tables, and a few game systems with Tekken. Neat little place; if you're 30 you'll probably prefer the upstairs.
We enjoyed our food! Ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich and the cottage pie, and both had great flavor. Service was quick. Jason, our waiter, was attentive and kind, and Rob turned off the loud music upon request. (We were the only customers sitting downstairs). They were out of bread pudding but we will come back again to try it!
Very, very okay. Nothing was very exciting. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was just a weird feel to this place. The food was just okay. The atmosphere was just okay. The servers were very nice. There's that at least.
Excellent food, this is my new favorite place to grab a burger on the square. I just got the basic steakburger, it was all fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. Loved the steak fries. Cocktails were okay, a little light on the pour but not expensive. My well rum & coke was 5 on Friday night. Very spacious, clean, and amazing staff. Absolutely coming again!
