This is absolutely one of my favorite little restaurants to dine in. I love the atmosphere and the food is amazing! I have eaten during lunch time as well as dinner time. The braised pork sandwich is good and the gnocchi is out of this world! Both so delicious I haven't tried any other entrees to date as I am always eating what I crave. Great appetizers as well!
WOW food was absolutely delicious. I had high expectations and they delivered, plus some! My coworkers and I came here for a quick lunch and the service was friendly, super fast, and the food was creative and of an incredibly high quality. Kinda fast casual, but way better quality patio out front, really cool, comfortable, casual vibe inside. Check this place out for sure!!!
Not only is the food amazing and fresh, but I love the intimate environment. They offer gluten free pasta and bread made in house. My husband could not even tell the difference! For such great quality food the price is great. I don't know how they do it! Every time we have visited Americatus we were treated very friendly and were able to get in without a long wait. Best Italian food in Denver by far!
I had an issue with a delivery order in the last week or so. I had sent an email and called to relay a complaint. Iain had personally reached out to me to rectify the issue. It meant so much to me that he took the time out of his day to follow up with me about a simple issue. Their turkey club is amazing and their chips are to die for. Everything feels and tastes homemade, and made with love. This is one of my team's favorite lunch spots in Denver. Their sandwiches, salads, and soups are worth the walk. Iain runs a great business and I'm excited to see it thrive.
5/19/16 Lunch Had the sausage sandwich. Sausage was really tasty, but they forgot to put sauce on it, which made it very dry. Friend ordered an Italian sandwich and same situation - no sauce or dressing. Nobody was particularly friendly either, which isn't a big deal, but worth mentioning. Chips were good, but no sauce or dressing on a sandwich with 3-4 ingredients? Come on.
The atmosphere is fabulous - I feel like I'm in a European cafe. The food is all made fresh, and I've NEVER had a bad meal in the 10 times I've eaten at Americatus. The staff is friendly and always full of great recommendations and pairings. This place is a MUST in downtown Denver!
Americatus is one of the only Italian restaurants in the Denver area that is not horribly overpriced for HOMEMADE PASTA. Thank you for being a part of the RiNo neighborhood. Please speak with Sarah (the GM) who is fabulous, if you need food recommendations. Everything is always lovely and never overcrowded. A great date spot!
