Literally connected to Embassy Suites that I was staying, we stopped in for dinner. Place decently busy, we were seated close enough to the door that we could feel the temp drop every time it opened. Friendly staff, appetizer and drinks arrived quickly. Our orders took some time to get to the table. The table felt a bit neglected, I had to point out that my iced tea needed refill, and we had to ask for refill of tortilla chips for the appetizer. My buddy's fries arrived cool/cold, though they brought out replacements quickly. My burger was cooked to specifics, and was liberally topped. The coleslaw had a nice 'apple-cider vinegar' type bite to it.

GET THE TEMPURA SHRIMP SUSHI APPETIZER. I could have eaten three rolls myself - so good. Long beer list and ability to get 5 oz flight portions which is great for trying many kinds. Good service and laid back atmosphere. Will come back for cocktails and appetizers.

Now this place right here hit the spot. I called ahead of time to make sure I didn’t need a reservation and the host was very nice and told me to come on in and join them. When I got there the bar was full (bummer) but I got a high top table around the bar area. When I arrived the staff was very friendly add to it Juan took absolutely GREAT care of me. I mean as soon as I sat down he was in my face (Not literally) asking me what could he get me to drink. He showed me how to download the menu on my phone and told me to take my time. I ordered a double IPA to help me select my meal and he was very helpful with that selection. It was funny because I told him I wanted a double IPA and everyone that I selected he was saying no without saying no... and then when I finally got to the one he recommended I ordered it and I am certainly glad I did. After a couple minutes going back in forth with the menu, I went with the Virginia Oysters and the Smoked Prime Rib sandwich. LAWD HAB MERCY... that smoked rib sandwich was amazing. The entire atmosphere was great. It was nice to finally get back out and patronize these establishments especially when the food is amazing. I cant wait until we get back to normal because I miss this type of experience. I certainly hope I get a chance to get back to Denver to visit because this is now my go-to spot. You all should certainly stop by and if you do.... tell’em Drew sent ya! Y’all be easy! Drew
