The sweets were very tasty, and I'm glad I got to try them. Also glad this place is here to add a wonderful piece of culture to our city. Owner seems to have a great relationship with his customers. I regret leaving anything less than 4 stars, but the confidence I'd have in returning to this business would be higher if owner was more careful with his masking. His nose and at one point even mouth was uncovered during my visit. It greatly reduced my trust in the cleanliness of the store and food. Sadly that is no small thing in the middle of an epidemic.

I has some extra time while waiting for my food order next door and decided to peek through the window. Seeing the spread of baked goods (that I'll probably incorrectly lump together as baklava) was enough to get me to go in. The friendly men (masked up to comply with COVID restrictions) saw that I was overwhelmed and began describing what was in the case and handing me samples. I left with a pound of assorted treats. They tasted very fresh. I liked that they weren't as sweet and greasy as similar items elsewhere. I loved the variety--made with pistachios (domestic and imported), walnuts, cashews, etc. Definitely worth a visit to this hidden strip-mall treasure.

Just discovered this awesome bakery when looking for some dessert for a middle eastern meal. Friendly guy behind the counter served us, and offered a few different samples without even needing to ask! Will definitely be going back.

Every time we drive from Boulder we must stop by syrian sweets. I tried kenafah and baklawa and both taste very delicious. The best authenic sweets I've tried since moved to the US.

(This review was posted during the major increase in COVID cases mid November) This place was once my go-to. Unfortunately, they neither follow nor enforce the mask mandate, despite having uncovered food, and don't shy away from physical contact with customers. Yesterday, not only did a customer not wear a mask while in the store for 15 minutes, the owner would not cover his nose, the food products were not covered, the owner and guest shook hands and even handed over their mobile phones without any respect for hygiene. If this is what customers see, I am not sure I want to see what we don't... I am sorry, but with 2,000 cases in Denver per day, this behavior is reckless and I will find a new location to shop at. 5 stars if you don't believe in pandemics.

Amazing desserts and a really awesome owner. My wife and I recently moved from VA and we wanted some Middle Eastern desserts, and this place is by far the best I’ve had since I’ve been to the Middle East

Do you love baklava? Yes, that was a rhetorial question because I mean, how could you not love baklava?? I was in the area and saw this bakery so of course, I had to go in and try some of the goodies. I can't even explain how overwhelmed I was about the different baklava varieties, so in natural Flo fashion, I got 2 of everything. Now, I was lucky that when I came in, Adam, the store owner was making fresh knaffe. If you've never had knaffe, you are MISSING out!! Adam's knaffe is sooooo delicious and it's best when warm. The amount of care that goes into knaffe watching just the little bit that I did shows that whomever is making knaffe loves it because it's a lot of work! Come in and try the knaffe and baklava! Adam is so sweet and nice!
