Went to ER, ended up being admitted for 4 days. It was my first adult hospital stay and was the best I could have hoped for. The care from all teams was exceptional and thorough. I felt every \t\ had been crossed and \i\ dotted. I'm very appreciative to Parkland for the wonderful care they provided.

I've taken my mother to Parkland Medical Center ( Hospital ) on at least 3 different occasions over the past 2 years. The staff and Dr's have treated her extremely well every time. My daughter was admitted last year for kidney issues. She was also treated incredibly well. As with any Hospital, the wait times in the ER obviously vary, depending on the amount of incoming patients but I've personally have never had to wait more than about a half hour in the ER. It's also a very well kept facility

I was admitted early Monday morning with the diagnosis of a fib. My experience with the Ed staff and the cardiac unit staff was excellent. Doctors and nurses explained everything being done to benefit my recovery. Would recommend the Parkland to anyone how needs emergency care.

The service was top notch, but please don't tell the patient that they have a room in Portsmouth, their sister hospital, Portsmouth doesn't hold rooms and I was in the hallway all night, never did get a room.

Parkland Medical Center (named after the adjacent Alexander Park) is [ Just the right size ] full service, (ER, Cath-Lab, C-Rehab, Respiratory, Ortho and a full service Caffiteria), HCA Hospital, Unlike several nearby Hospitals I found few 'traveling' nurses and they have a strong QA department, (see other reviews), and many of the staff have served for over ten years, which improves the level of care. Every season they have an employee art contests, here are photos from the last one...
