I was in the market for a new foundation, but really did not want to go back to the chain beauty stores, as I can never find a color I think is perfect. And with Covid, trying any makeup products was out of the question. I knew someone who knows the owner (Sharla) so I asked my friend if she thought I could get the help I needed in picking a color out. She was confident that Sharla could help me. So, I popped in unannounced and Sharla was just finishing up with another customer. After that, I explained my makeup dilemma and she was more than willing to accommodate my needs. She asked several questions about skin, color, what I prefer, etc, before settling on a specific product to try on me. The initial color was a bit off, but after just a couple tweaks in mixing colors, it was a perfect match to my skin. I've never had a foundation match as well as hers did. It's like she customized it for me, and I couldn't be happier. I didn't care the cost of the product, because a perfect foundation is priceless to me. Sharla still had some time before her next appointment, so we discussed my eye shadow concerns. She picked out a couple colors, put them on me, and bam!, another perfect look. One thing led to another, and next thing you know she completely transformed my face before her next client arrived. She explained what products did what, where to put them, and so on. I loved and bought everything and left the store feeling confident in my new look and how to apply the products. With all this in mind, Sharla and her store get a 5 star review from me. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly. She is a master at what she does and I know I will be a life long customer from now on. Thank you Sharla, for everything!!!

We had our faces painted by Erika and Hunter for a Halloween themed gala. When originally scheduling the appointment they were very helpful and thorough in explaining the process, cost, etc.. Very accommodating. The woman I spoke to offered me to stop by with pictures and ideas or to email them in so the artists could review ahead of time. Erika and Hunter made the experience fun and they were definitely excited about the idea we presented to them. They expanded on our original idea and added fun, creative additions. Would go back to work with their team for any event- Halloween or more traditional makeup.

Sharla and the team at V & G did an amazing job and I couldn't be more pleased. I'd initially done a trial run with Sharla, where she explained everything and got my input on the look I was going for, where she also made great recommendations. Come wedding day, she did my makeup just as we'd planned while her team did the rest of the wedding party. Everyone LOVED how they looked and even after we left, talked about how welcoming and fun the staff were. They did a wonderful job of catering to the look, style, and coverage that each individual preferred. Though no one was pressured to buy products, nearly all of the bridesmaids did. I would absolutely recommend and will certainly be back.
