This review is only about grooming not veterinary care. I brought my bernedoddle in for a routine grooming appointment. Showed the groomer a post-grooming picture from a previous grooming for guidance. I got a dog back that I didn’t recognize as my dog. She had been buzz cut and even that was uneven.I have never seen a bernedoddle groomed like that. Doddles of all types are very popular, so I assume the groomer has some idea on how to groom a doddle. The only reason to buzz cut one, is that it is a huge timesaver and can be done in a few minutes. I get upset every time I look at my dog. It will take weeks to grow out to something that looks normal. Definitely will never return to this clinic. Before & After.

We've taken our dog, Indy here for about 3-4 years and they've always been great. Yesterday, we desperately needed to have his Dew claws (thumbs) cut as they'd curled up into his paws & he was suffering. We tried, but.. No. They took him right away, cut all his nails, which was no small matter as he isn't very cooperative AT ALL. The doctor was very kind and thorough. Skylar, the Vet Asst., (I'm sorry if I don't have her proper title right) was so sweet and professional, is amazing. We could tell it was a wrestling match by the amount of Indy's hair on her. She's truly a professional. I'm sure Indy gave her & the doctor pure hell, but through it all they held up magnificently. We adore our doggie, but also know he can be a trial. The staff at Desert Hills Animal Clinic are all remarkable and I'd refer anyone there.

Supper friendly. Love that you can get a check up for you fur babies and a grooming! Krystal is amazing and friendly and so is Karen who has a talent for getting the pups looking beautiful

My cute loyal dog needed dental work. The vet removed several teeth. She is home recovering quite well now
