Waited one hour before a waitress even got us a drink. The waitress took our order three times each time they were out of something we ordered. waited two hours and never got our food when she asked us if we just wanted it to go and still waited 1/2 hour before we ended up leaving cause they closed while we were waiting. People were walking out left and right. I give 2 stars because the music was good, but we sat in the corner under the speaker that was up so loud it rattled and you couldn't hear some of the music.

I'm at the famous Baker's Lounge on a GrubHub run and as usual I am star struck somewhat. The ambience and memories I have from both being here and reminded of old pleasurable times with friends, family, and loved ones. I can't wait until things get stable and we can emerge again and show both strength and reserve. I love Baker's Lounge and I'm proud to see you guys still going!

My Valentine’s Day Dinner experience was disappointing. I made VDay reservations in advance knowing that holiday would be busy. I spoke with a young lady who took my reservation and informed me that the tables were 10 for reserve and the booths were 50 and up for reserve. I Informed the young lady that I’ll just take a table since it’s just us two. I even repeated what was said to me back to her regarding the price’s between the booth and table. My reservations were for 8pm Valentine’s Day. I got there exactly at 8pm and I see there’s a bit of a line. I ask the couple who have seem to been waiting for quite sometime what was the issue. They informed me that the manager had pushed the previous reservations back. I asked the manager what seems to be the problem? He informed me that a group of people came in Friday and paid in advance which made the customers who previously made their reservations over the phone pushed back. I told him that was unfair and unprofessional considering I did what I was supposed to do which was make a reservation in advance. There was no common courtesy to even call the customers back who made reservations to inform them so they can have enough time to make other arrangements. He said more tables would be open around 9:30 which means I’d have to wait a whole 90 minutes. So we decided to sit at the bar. He found us a table but tried to tax double which was not discussed when reservations were made over the phone. He went back and forth with us but we continued to sit at the bar. By the time we actually got situated with food and enjoying ourselves the band was done for the evening. Upon leaving the lounge my bf realized his truck was broken into and vandalized as well as important items being stolen. We went back in to the lounge to inform the manager but there was no remorse or apologies.

I used to go there all the time when I lived in Detroit. Absolutely love this place. The food was always delicious. I will make it a point to visit there when I visit my hometown. I have been in Florida for 13 years now. Miss them.

Great first experience here. The place has an excellent reputation so I was excited to go. The atmosphere was relaxed and full of good vibes. Pictures of musical greats who have performed there throughout the years lined the walls. They have lots of booths and a good amount of seating with an excellent view of the stage. The service left plenty to be desired in terms of speed and responsiveness of our waitress. She was at least polite. The live music eased most of that tension and didn’t ruin a pretty cool experience here. I ordered the catfish with yams and collard greens. The catfish literally melts in your mouth. The portion sizes were pretty decent. Both the yams and the greens were on point. It was an excellent meal. I’ll be back.
