Our fireplace was old and unusable. Every time he had a fire it would smoked out the house. Tony and his team came in and explained what they were going to do to remedy the issue. The chimney needed the old clay pipe removed and a stainless steel liner installed. They were very professional and clean. When the work was done, you would never know they were there by how clean they left the area. Thanks for the professional job done, we now have a working fireplace. Highly recommended.

My chimney and fireplace needed some serious updating. I figure I'd try this company since they were given as a referral. The guys who came out to do the repairs took time to explain exactly what it was going to take to correct the damages to the chimney and how to achieve the look i wanted for my fireplace. And, that's exactly what was achieved. Incredible. Beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend Chimney Cricket to anyone who is in need of masonry work and chimney repairs.
Found the process very easy from start to finish. I had several other local \so-called\ chimney companies out to my home. The first, was rather rude and very unprofessional from his vehicle to attire. My husband and I didn't feel as this individual had a good grip at all as to what he was even looking for or at. The second, company we had out for an inspection was a no call no show the first appointment, then 2 hours late the second appointment. The inspection was rather ineffective as they didn't look at the top of chimney nor did they provide a clear direction on a job with \why\ things were needed. All we good was a HUGE quote. Our neighbors son told us to call Chimney Cricket and it was a welcomed experience. Our initial inspection was thorough and Tony provided explanations during the interior process. We were happy to see that Tony spent a great deal of time at our home looking in the basement, attic, fireplace, and roof. The report was easy to read with pictures similar to our home inspection. We will be moving forward with the needed items.
Working with the team at Chimney Cricket it was clear right away they were professional and knowledgeable regarding my needs. They addressed my concerns and provide the necessary details and solutions to issues I'm currently facing regarding my two chimneys. We agreed given our budget our chimney stack used for the exhaust of our boiler needed to be addressed right away and that our gas fireplace could remain on the back burner for now. A plan was set in place the same day as their inspection. I look forward to their next visit as I feel assured they will do a fantastic job.
