Henry Ford Cancer Institute saved my life. I had 2 cancers at the same time. HFH took excellent care of me and my family through the whole process of lab work, diagnostics, pre-care planning, 7 months of chemo and an eventual Bone Marrow Transplant and 18 months of recovery. Awesome people and care! I recommend HFH to anyone I meet that has the damn \C\.

The last place to go. I went to Henry Ford for one reason. They said they could do ablation to treat my cancer. They did everything to avoid this treatment. Almost killed me with chemo and on my second treatment I watched a lady die. They announced a time of death and a nurse said she didn't make it. Good thing I was in such poor health from the first treatment that I couldn't do the second. They said my cancer was to small to do anything we have to wait. The next pet scan They tell me now it's spread to far all they can offer is chemo. Thousands of dollars in bills have been sent to collections for everything but what I went there for. Henry Ford is a scam and if you want to live go elsewhere.

I only gave it a 3 star due a poor experience around scheduling. The nurses and doctors I worked with were excellent. However, one of the women at the registration desk has a really nasty attitude and disposition. She should not be dealing with the public. She gave me an appointment slip for my biopsy with the wrong address on it that sent be to the New Center building. I drove to New Center and went to the radiology dept and thankfully someone was there to tell me I was in the wrong place. He called to let them know at the Cancer Center that I'd be late and that I was given wrong info. I get to the Cancer Center and explain that I was given wrong info and she was nasty and said nothing about, didn't even apologize and she was the one that gave me the wrong info to begin with. She also kept rolling her eyes and giving my Mom and eye nasty looks. That really through us off as we were never nasty to her or rude in any way.
