they enforce 12 feet on beach so virus safe and love no music policy. wonderful staff. clean deep water. can rent paddle boards, kayaks, canoes. fishing is good. need a mask to get in.

Family time is great here.
I have had no problems with the life guards that other reviewers are complaining about. This is one of the few public swimming areas open around here so they are dealing with more people than I think they are used to. Very nice place, clear water, and people I saw were doing okay on the social distancing.
Okay lake for a family. Poorly managed. They should set a limit on capacity if they can't get the kind of handle on social distancing they act like they want. Instead it's a lot of passive aggressive behavior and shaming by the staff and some of the patrons of the lake. Unpleasant atmosphere. There are better places. Won't return.
This little lake (real name is Big Hell Pond) is a real gem and Anne Mc Ginty does a great job of managing it. I have fond memories of this deep crystal clear body of water when I was a military dependent from 68 -71.' So happy it's being protected from development!
