I wish my experience was better. They have a huge kitchen that you can see into thanks to panoramic indoor windows, but at 10am on a Wednesday, nobody was cooking. It seems they've certainly been affected by covid and their stocks of homemade goods are suffering, but they have many other interesting and high quality candies that they package and sell. I recommend making this a weekend trip, or to call and see when they are planning to cook during the week... I think the experience would be much better, as the building seems tailored to offering a show. There is a lot of history provided about the candy company, as well as a healthy amount of branded merchandise. If you are interested in these things, then that's another big reason to stop by. I plan to stop in again, in the future, and will definitely be calling to align my schedule to visit during a cooking session.

It's a great place to take kids so they can watch on how they make candy. it would be a good field trip for the kids to do that's doing homeschool. The drive is awesome beautiful scenery.

This place is beyond your greatest expectations. I dont have the words good enough to describe the people or thier candy. Do yourself a huge favor. Check this candy store out. Especially if you are diabetic. You cant taste the difference between regular and diabetic candy. Yes its that good

My wife and I have seen candy made in dexter since we were kids still enjoy it! We stop by on Sunday and let our kids watch.
