It helped me correct some previous errors in the documents and get things back on track so that I was legally protected. After pushing back on my landlords to make repairs in the house that I have rented for 4 years, I came home with a 14-day Notice to Vacate on my door 2 days before Christmas Eve. I did enough research to know that it was retaliation, but I had no idea where to start or how to respond to them. In desperation, I emailed every Landlord/Tenant lawyer in Orlando explaining my situation with as much detail as possible. Many responded back, saying they were not taking new clients or wanted to charge hundreds or thousands of dollars just to speak with them. David reached out to me not only by email, but he picked up the phone and called me and said that while he typically handles class action cases, he offered to schedule a one-hour zoom call with me to discuss in more detail. He let me know everything that he wanted me to to send him for review prior to the zoom call, and before we spoke , took the time to review everything in detail. He explained my rights as a tenant and what statutes my landlords had violated. Without ever charging me, he gave me great advice on how to push back on my landlords, completely taking the fear out of the situation and allowing me to have a plan moving forward. It is a rarity to find an attorney that practices with a servant heart, and he was so knowledgeable that I am confident if I am ever in a situation where I do need to litigate with them or any landlord, he is the first one I would hire to represent me!
