We always enjoy the comedy provided by Dick & Kathy Doherty. Great live entertainment that leaves you laughing for hours. Well known talent on the bills. You can make easy reservations. We attend either the Boston or Worcester location a couple times a year and annually for New Years Eve.

I go to comedy club a great deal. I love this place and it is my favorite. It's only 1/2 block from the exit from the expressway so no city traffic. It's in the Financial District so after 5pm there is tons of on street parking and if I choose to use a garage the fee is only 8 instead of the usual 20 for intown garages. The entrance is direct in from the street and the club is clean and pleasant and the food good. The big thing is the show. Small clubs are the only way to see comedy for me. If you have never been to a Hockey Game at the Garden then watching it on TV is not the same. The connection with the rest of the audience and the comics is special. As it said in the Globe review "It's more than Funny it's fun" Top national comics and great local comics. This place has it all.
Shared space with 'Howl at the moon' club. Smaller venue during my visit. Appropriately progressively funny acts. Experience it for yourself!

Awesome experience! Great room, comedians were great. Food and drinks available during show! It's now called Dick Doherty's Comedy Den (below Howl at the Moon) after moving from the old location on Boylston St. at Remington's. I used to visit the old one a lot, but I must say the new location is a lot better! Food options are better, the room is a lot bigger, and the comedians only seem to be getting funnier. A lot of parking available around the new location and easily accessible from highway, make this a great and hassle-free place to go!

It was an awesome experience. I just finish my first year of college and I needed a few laughs so we decided to go the comedy club. The place had a great atmosphere, there were older and younger crowds so I felt very confortable and it was really easy to find which is great because im not a fan of coming into boston which makes it fairly convenient for me. My friends and I definitely will be coming here more often. I recommend this place if you're looking for a good laugh and time.
