This lodge was nice however it needs to be dusted/cleaned more even though the caretakers claimed to have cleaned both buildings. The Game room apparently is not used anymore for an unknown reason and was locked without any notice given to our group. This was very disappointing considering we were all looking forward to playing games up there. The fireplace in the dining area was broken as well without any notice given. Also the lodge needs updated in certain areas we found the doors to creak and weren't sealed properly so they let in cold air at night. Looks can be deceiving the lodge is a lot smaller than in the photos. They used a strange camera angle to make it seem bigger. Please remove the game room from your website if you aren't using it anymore it's not fair to advertise it then not offer it that's false advertising.

it is a beautiful please it of the way , it's a nice getaway from all the city noise. three perfect place to put your feet up and relax. or go for a hike in Washington's beautiful forest. it's close to lake Wenatchee state park.
This is not an inexpensive location to rent. I do not want to sound unappreciative or out of touch to the intention of the lodge but I feel the overall experience deserves to be expressed for those that wish to potentially spend hard-earned money. The water smells, from four feet away, of sulfur and gave us pause to even bathing in it, let alone drinking. Be prepared to spend a lot of money on water to drink. This is a camping experience to be sure, if you're looking for comfortable sitting or sleeping accommodations you are going to be disappointed. I left the family gathering at this location early due to the affect the bed and seating arrangement had on my back. I hike avidly and am a former Marine, I am not stranger to accommodations most would scoff at. I was very disappointed at what is offered here. The grill was not clean and our party spend hours to clear it of obvious neglect. Multiple boards on the fence fell at the slightest touch. The curtain in the room I stayed fell at the slightest touch when opening the window because one side was propped only by an ill-placed nail. The entire place had obviously been neglected in terms of commonplace upkeep. Which is very disappointing given the beautiful location and extravagant price. It is not worth spending this money but I truly wish it was; it has great potential if the owners had any inclination for upkeep. I dislike having to say this but this place is not worth the hard-earned money. Just go camping, at least you won't smell of rotten eggs (not kidding, the water is that bad and I cannot stress that enough).
If you're looking for a super woodsy cabin in the middle of the wilderness, This is that.
Dirtyface lodge was a perfect setting for our cozy and intimate destination wedding. Everyone got their own room, and we all had such a wonderful time! Rustic, charming, but with all the comforts and conveniences of home. Highly recommended!!
