I cannot remember the gentleman‘s name that came out and repaired my broken window, but he did a great job! He was cordial, professional, and knew what he was doing. He advised me that the window does not sit plumb in the window jam, so he put a rubber shim under the window frame and onto the jamb and advised me not to remove the spacer for a few days to let the caulking fully set. He also told me he installed thicker pane glass into the frame, which was originally only 3/8” single pane glass in the broken window that has been there since the 1960s. He also informed me the 1/2” gap on the sill will need to be plugged and filled after the plumbing caulk dries. Thank you for your politeness and for being in and out.
